April was born in New Mexico and raised in Washington, D.C. and New Mexico. She received her Associate’s degree in General Studies, Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, and her Master’s in Mental Health and Wellness with an Emphasis in Grief and Bereavement. April has served in the medical field for 26 years.
